Small Potted Plants Shower Favors
Potted plants and herbs make great bridal shower party favors. These you can often find reasonably priced at your local store
or garden center, but why not pot them yourself?
Simply take cuttings from your own plants - perhaps from an ivy - ivy in the language of flowers means wedded love and fidelity – lavender or geraniums, seeds or small bulbs, such as grape hyacinths or crocus', and plant them in potting soil in small terracotta flowerpots, mini watering cans or pails.
To decorate you could tie ribbon around the little pots or to the handles of the pails or watering cans - perhaps in the wedding colors - and attach tags or labels telling your guests the name of the plant and to say thank you. You might also like to attach little bridal favor themed charms, such as wedding rings, hearts or horseshoes.
Packaged seeds such as Love-in-a-Mist, Cupids Dart, Cupid Pink Sweet Peas and Forget-me-Nots - in the language of flowers forget-me-nots mean true love - also make lovely bridal shower favors.
