Baked Potatoes with Sour Cream and Chives
Small baked potatoes are a great food choice for bridal showers. They make a good hot snack too!
Ingredients
Small potatoes
Sour cream
Finely snipped or cut chives
How to make
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees (200 degrees centigrade).
2. Wash the potatoes,
3. Dry them on paper towel.
4. Using a fork, prick each potato skin in several places.
5. Put the potatoes into a roasting pan.
6. Bake for about 40 minutes.
7. When cooked, carefully slit open the top of each potato.
8. Put a small dollop of sour cream into every potato slit.
9. Garnish with finely snipped/cut chives.
10. Serve.
Cook's tip
Some cook's say it's better to snip chives with scissors than to cut them with a knife.
